SUMMARY

This project involved flood protection works to Lendal Tower, a scheduled ancient monument, which together with adjacent buildings, formed part of a residential conversion by our client. Four cellars were lined with waterproof membrane and filled with concrete. Specialist flood gates and barriers were then installed at strategic points to prevent water ingress in the event of the Ouse breaking its banks.
